Like every year and continuing the tradition of close collaboration between the IAE and the Master in Actuarial and Financial Sciences, the General Director of the Association, Javier Olaechea, has visited us at the Madrid-Puerta de Toledo Campus.

Javier began his presentation with a brief introduction to the history of the profession, then reviewed the functions, objectives and future vision of the Professional Association as well as current legislation and the Code of Professional Conduct.

Next, Javier informed the students of the master's degree about the services offered by the school to its associates: Training, Legislation, and Employment Exchange, among others.

Finally, Javier spoke with the students about the future of the profession, answering the questions raised by the students.

Also, like every year, the students who recently graduated from the master's degree received a personal invitation from the President of the IAE, Rafael Moreno Ruiz, to join the association.

The Institute of Spanish Actuaries, a Public Law Corporation with competencies of Professional Association at a national level, currently brings together more than 1,700 actuaries resident throughout Spain, defends their corporate interests, guarantees their independence and the validity of the basic values ​​of the profession, and provides its members with the services they need for the best performance of their work.
