{"id":16042,"date":"2023-03-23T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2023-03-22T23:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/business.uc3m.es\/\/news-master\/insurance-law-course\/"},"modified":"2026-01-28T08:48:38","modified_gmt":"2026-01-28T07:48:38","slug":"curso-de-derecho-del-seguro","status":"publish","type":"news-master","link":"https:\/\/business.uc3m.es\/en\/news-master\/curso-de-derecho-del-seguro\/","title":{"rendered":"Insurance Law Course"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The course was born with the objective of:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: inherit;\">Create a learning experience that allows interested persons to know the legal practice of the insurance activity.<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Achieve an initial framework for insurance law, its social function and the multiple professional possibilities.<\/li>\n<li>Give answers to the following questions from a theoretical approach and a practical approach:<\/li>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: inherit;\">What should you know about an insurance policy?<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Who can be insurance distributors?<\/li>\n<li>What is the governance system of insurance companies and how does it work?<\/li>\n<li>Can anyone access the insurance activity?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<li>Solve practical cases:<\/li>\n<ul>\n<li>Hiring insurance.<\/li>\n<li>Acquisition of an insurance company and its impact on the different types of distributors.<\/li>\n<li>Appointment of directors and responsibility.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The legal team of SANTALUC\u00cdA has taught the program under the direction of UC3M Commercial Law professors, Marta Garc\u00eda Mandaloniz and F\u00e9lix Benito Osma, and Alejandro P\u00e9rez Lafuente, director of Corporate and Business Legal Advice for the insurer, there will be four other professionals from SANTALUC\u00cdA as trainers: \u00c1ngel Gasco, responsible for New Technologies and Privacy Litigation;
