Of this ranking of 50 degrees, UC3M is in the top 5 positions of 11 degrees. <\/p>\n<p>This edition also qualifies Universidad Carlos III de Madrid as the best in degrees in the area of Business such as Business Administration and Management, and Finance and Accounting. It also occupies the second position in degrees such as Law and Economics and the third in Electrical Engineering, Communications Systems and Telecommunication Technologies, and Labor Relations. Likewise, it is in fifth position in the degrees of Computer Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.  <\/p>\n<p>In this El Mundo ranking, 50 degrees taught at Spanish universities are assessed through questionnaires to professors and the analysis of data from each university, such as cut-off marks, proportion between the number of professors and students, places available in classrooms, laboratories, libraries and computer rooms. In addition, the number of credits is assessed: total, practical, optional, in companies and the teaching methodology. The dropout and graduation rate, average duration of studies, participation of professors in research projects and theses read are also taken into account. In turn, the number of research projects, languages, international agreements, prices and adaptation to the European Higher Education Area are counted.
