Evita Paraskevopoulou is a permanent professor in the Business Economics Department at the Carlos III University of Madrid. Evita holds a degree in Economics from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in Greece, and a PhD in Science, Technology and Innovation from Manchester Business School (University of Manchester).
During her studies, she has worked as a teaching and research assistant at Manchester Business School as well as at the University of Athens, and has participated in various external research projects.
Her research interests include public and private management of innovation and management control practices. She is currently participating in projects that study (i) the role of management control for innovation, (ii) the implications of public policies on the innovative strategies of companies, (iii) EU regulation, business competitiveness and the allocation of public funds.
