Last Tuesday, November 26, the cycle of presentations “Tuesdays are for actuaries” was closed with the presence in BBVA’s classroom.
Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria (BBVA) is a Spanish bank with its headquarters in Bilbao. It is one of the largest financial institutions in the world and is mainly present in Spain, Mexico, South America, the United States and Turkey. It is listed on the Madrid Stock Exchange (BBVA) and is part of the IBEX 35 as well as the Dow Jones EURO STOXX 50.

For an hour and a half, the speakers were breaking down the different aspects of the actuarial profession in the field of the bank such as the main branches that are worked in BBVA, the bank’s market share or the different challenges that they must face in the everyday life.
