SABI

Data Summary

Contains: accounts, ratios, activities, ownership and management of more than one million Spanish companies and 320,000 Portuguese companies.
A company record usually contains: contact information, balance sheet and profit and loss account that can be displayed with different levels of detail, ratios, import/export indicator, shareholders, subsidiaries, management, auditors, bankers and, in the case of listed companies, information on securities and prices, annual and current valuation of shares, annual and current share data and monthly price series. In addition to the existing ratios, you can also create your own, which you can display in reports and use in your searches and analyses.

Each company is part of a pre-determined reference group based on its activity codes; the integral graphs illustrate its position in this reference group. A company tree diagram instantly illustrates the structure of the group.

The software allows you to search for companies that meet your own criteria. You can combine as many conditions as you want and use full Boolean logic (and, or, not). Once a group of companies has been identified, you can create tables and graphs that compare the companies with each other and download them into most packages. You can also analyse your search results in a simple matrix that graphically represents the companies according to the criteria you choose. For example, you can view a group of companies by region and activity and graphically represent the results.

Other features include: a complementary function that facilitates the analysis of SABI data «in real time» within Excel/Access and BvDEP comparison software, which allows you to compare the records in your own database with those that also appear in SABI and update or improve your data accordingly. You can also upload a file of companies to analyse in SABI.
