Accreditations
Two international accreditations
The Carlos III MBA has two international accreditations: AMBA (Association of MBAs) and AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business).
It is the only UC3M master's degree with double international accreditation and the only MBA program with international accreditation within the Spanish public university system.
It is also accredited as an official master's degree within the European Higher Education Area (EHEA).
UC3M is widely regarded as the best Spanish university in the field of business administration, attracting the best students in the country and enjoying an excellent reputation among employers.
How accreditations work
Approximately 1% of all MBA programs worldwide have AMBA accreditation, and an even smaller percentage have both AMBA and AACSB accreditations.
Both accreditations are based on regular external audits conducted by panels of deans or program directors from other internationally accredited schools. Each time the MBA is re-evaluated, the AMBA or AACSB panel visits the university, reviews the facilities, speaks with students, faculty, and employers, and examines all aspects of the program (from admissions to curriculum and career guidance services) to ensure they meet the highest international standards. The panel also makes recommendations that must be implemented before the next visit.
The UC3M MBA has been accredited by AMBA since 2006 and by AACSB since 2017.
