Life and career

In the heart of Madrid

Madrid has a vibrant life and great international connections, its airport being one of the largest in Europe by number of passengers and the largest in Spain.

The MBA is offered in a unique, recently renovated building, situated in a prime location in the heart of Madrid, within walking distance of the Royal Palace.

UC3M is the best Spanish university for business studies and is connected to a close network of employers.

Students can complete their MBA with an internship, extending their stay in Madrid beyond the academic year.

Spain's main business center

At the UC3M MBA Program, we believe that individual merit and experience are more important than certificates. According to this point of view, GMAT is recommended, but not required for admission to our MBA program. Because in an MBA program students learn as much from the faculty as from their peers, the admission process is rigorous and designed to identify candidates with high potential.

To ensure that students interested in our program receive accurate and impartial information, we do not rely on sales personnel during the admission process. Instead, once the application is received and throughout the process until a student is finally admitted, candidates are in contact with high-level academic staff whose main interest is to identify the best candidates and help candidates receive accurate, objective information about the program. As a public university, we operate on a non-profit basis and our main interest is to develop a high-quality program.

Close ties with the business world

Regarding your professional career, you will benefit from UC3M’s outstanding reputation among employers. UC3M has close ties with the business world and organizes the largest job fair in the city, called Forempleo. The university has a wide range of internships on offer, and if you are interested, you can extend your stay in Madrid to undertake an internship and thus complement your studies with real work experience in Madrid.

Within the MBA, our leadership and professional development modules will help you develop your skills, identify where you want to go professionally after the MBA, and improve your “brand” to successfully continue your career after the MBA. You will also benefit from the support of our alumni network, a global network of professionals working in the most diverse industries and business functions.
