Eline De Vries is a Senior Lecturer in Marketing at the Department of Business Administration at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. Eline received her PhD in Economics and Business, specializing in consumer behavior and consumer neuroscience from the University of Groningen, The Netherlands. Prof. de Vries also holds an MSc. in Research Based Marketing, as well as an MSc. in Social Psychology (Cum Laude). Eline has published her research in leading Marketing and Psychology journals, and has presented her research at major international conferences. Her work has appeared in various media outlets, including CNN, The Guardian and NRC. Her research interests include consumer behavior and self-control, consumer neuroscience (fMRI), cause marketing, global/local branding, and social media marketing.
