Neus Palomeras is a Professor in the Department of Business Economics at the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. She obtained her doctorate in Business Administration from the Universidad Pompeu Fabra (UPF) in Barcelona. Her research areas are Innovation Management and the economics of organizations, analyzed from the perspective of strategic management. Her empirical work examines the strategies of companies in R sectors, mainly from the point of view of the R personnel who work in them. To date, she has mainly investigated the phenomenon of inventor mobility between companies and its consequences on thetransmission and production of knowledge. Other topics she has analyzed in her articles are technology licensing activity, the consequences of organizing researchers into teams, and the role of inventors in technological alliances. As a teacher, she teaches different courses related to Innovation Management at the undergraduate, master's and doctoral levels.
