They made the presentation of BCG:

  • Carlos Prádanos, Managing Director and Partner at BCG.
  • Jorge Lobo, Project Leader at BCG.
  • Aida Portela, Recruiting Coordinator at BCG.

The presentation of BCG, a company in the strategic consulting sector, began by explaining how traditional consulting models have changed and are moving closer to consulting models based on professional coaching for companies in which they explain and guide them (within the insurance sector) with a view to improving its value chain and making a profit. They also offered real examples of projects in which they have worked within the insurance sector for client companies from different areas.

In addition, they explained how digital work (Digital Analysis and Critical Expertise) facilitates data processing so that each project they have in the company is successful.

Throughout the presentation, they referred to issues related to promotion within the company and the inclusion of workers on a day-to-day basis, explaining the range of possibilities once inside the company: internal training, dynamism in the position of work, promotion of mobility (transfers) within the different BCG offices, etc.

Next, they explained the hiring process (both for interns and workers), as well as the basic skills that are required. Finally, a question time was opened to clarify doubts and expand information to the attendees.
