The magazine Annals of the Institute of Spanish Actuaries publishes in its latest issue the article by David Villarino based on his 2019 FMT.
The article entitled “MODELLING ACTUARIAL EQUITABLE TONTINES” rescues tontine operations (a form of life insurance that became popular more than three centuries ago and was outlawed) and presents them as an alternative to the problem of increasing global longevity.

Ninth edition of the Actuarial Day organized by the UBZurich Chair of the University of Barcelona. A group of students in the 2nd year of the master’s degree in Actuarial and Financial Sciences at the Carlos III University of Madrid was accepted and has participated in the Challenge 2022 program.
As every year, the Servicio de Orientación y Empleo of the uc3m informs students of the steps to follow to complete the 500 hours (minimum) of internships necessary to complete the master’s degree.
