The conference was held in person and online with numerous attendees in both cases, around 140 people attended the event, including numerous master’s program students.
Mª José Salcedo, Director of the Research Area at ICEA, and Margarita Samartín, Director of the Master’s Degree in Actuarial and Financial Sciences, were in charge of opening the session and welcoming attendees and participants.
The different presentations were then developed:

- Federico Tassara, Chair Society of Actuaries Latin America Committee/Business Transformation Manager in Munich Re: Global reinsurance solutions for climate change risk
- Eduardo Sánchez, Corporate Actuarial Director at Mapfre: Challenges of the actuary in the face of climate change
