The objective of the conference, which in this edition was attended by more than 100 people including professionals from the sector and master’s degree students, has been to disseminate both the Final Master’s Thesis (TFM) of the UC3M and the lectures given by professionals prestigious, making known the latest lines of financial-actuarial research and their practical applicability. This year various topics related to the “Silver Economy” have been addressed.
After the opening of the conference, carried out by MĀŖ JosĆ© Salcedo (Director of the ICEA Research Area), the professor and TFM tutor of the master’s degree JosĆ© Miguel RodrĆguez Pardo dedicated his presentation to the Economics of aging, how the aging of societies is affecting and will affect the economy in the future, as well as the influence of the pandemic that we have suffered (and still suffer), may have on the aforementioned Economy of aging.
Next, the two awarded Master’s Final Projects were presented.
