Last February, a webinar on Benford’s Law took place organized by the Institute of Spanish Actuaries to which the students of the Master’s Degree in Actuarial and Financial Sciences at the Carlos III University of Madrid were invited.
The webinar was led by José Manuel Pavía, Professor at the University of Valencia and Co-director of the Deblanc Chair and focused on Benford’s Law as a quantitative tool applied to detecting money laundering.
The Association of Actuaries UC3M proposes as a topic of debate “Analytics and the new paradigm of the actuarial profession” during the event that will take place on November 13 at the Puerta de Toledo Campus
The Carlos Sunyer Foundation maintains its support for students interested in training as actuaries in the Master’s Degree at the Carlos III University of Madrid. For this reason, they have launched a new edition of the scholarships, in this case for the promotion that will begin their studies in 2022.
On February 4th, the Association of actuaries organized a free conference on asset management at the Postgraduate Center of the Carlos III University of Puerta de Toledo.
