UC3M Business professors receive awards for their research

UC3M Business announces the winners of the 2022-23 Research Awards. The awards are granted in conjunction with the INDEM institute and are intended to support the research work of members of both entities.
Prof. Gemma Berenguer has been distinguished with the UC3M 2024 Awards for Excellence. These awards recognize the excellence of the work carried out by young researchers at UC3M.
Prof. Marco Giometti has been distinguished with a Juan de la Cierva grant awarded by the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities.

The article, written in collaboration with researchers from LIUC Università Cattaneo and the University of Foggia, concludes that family businesses tend to protect their employees more than non-family businesses, generally avoiding staff reduction practices.
