Actuarial Days-Master in Actuarial and Financial Sciences. ZURICH presentation

They began the presentation by asking the students why they had chosen the master’s degree and what interests them in the insurance sector to find out their concerns and then they made the presentation of Zurich and explained the origin of the FutureZ excellence program, first revealing the reality of the company as a Swiss insurance group present in Spain and which supports 86% of the IBEX companies, both life and non-life. They also specified that the company provides solutions to large companies, SMEs, and individuals and that they are adapting, technologically, to other younger profiles with the “Zurich Klinc” brand.

Next, they explained the FutureZ program in depth, which implies a training and professional experience (transversal training in the company knowing all areas such as Pricing, Life, Non-life, Portfolio, Business Consulting, etc.) that is interspersed with activities of mentoring and buddies with the aim of getting to know the different teams that make up the company both locally and globally. Jorge Montejano recounted his experience first as a scholarship beneficiary student and then as a recent worker.

Finally, in the student’s questions time, they explained the phases of the selection process to be a FutureZ and made known the advantages of joining the company, among other topics.
