II ACEDE Paper Development Workshop (PDW) in Strategy

The II ACEDE Paper Development Workshop (PDW) in Strategy, organised by the ACEDE Strategy
Section, will take place on 28 and 29 October 2026 at the Puerta de Toledo Campus of the Universidad
Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M). This academic event is designed to support researchers aiming to refine
their work in the field of business strategy, helping them advance towards publication in leading
academic journals.

Invited speakers:
This second edition of the ACEDE PDW in Strategy will bring together internationally renowned scholars:

Mircea Epure (Universitat Pompeu Fabra), editor en jefe de BRQ Business Research Quarterly.

Ruth Aguilera (D’Amore-McKim School of Business, Northeastern University), Deputy Editor de Journal of International Business Studies y exeditora sénior de Organization Science.

This PDW represents a unique opportunity to build international research networks, share innovative
research ideas, and receive feedback from leading scholars in the field of strategy. Through this
initiative, ACEDE and the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid establish themselves as a key meeting point
for research excellence in strategy at the international level.

How to get there
The Puerta de Toledo Campus is located in the heart of Madrid, in the La Latina neighbourhood. Metro:
Line 5, Puerta de Toledo stop (a two-minute walk from campus). Bus: lines 3, 17, 18, 23, 27, 35, 60 and
148, stopping at Glorieta de Puerta de Toledo. From Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport: take metro
Line 8 to Nuevos Ministerios, then Line 10 to Alonso Martínez, and Line 5 to Puerta de Toledo.

Programme
The workshop will run over two days: a full day on 28 October and a morning session on 29 October,
