Her research is focused mainly on accounting conservatism, earnings management, the bank accounting and IFRS.

She is currently a member of the Academic Panel of the  European Financial Reporting Advisory Group (EFRAG) and the editor of the journal of the European Accounting Association "Accounting in Europe".
