We
are pleased to announce the 2020 Madrid Work and Organizations Workshop.
The
workshop will meet this year on May 21-22, 2020 at IE Business School.
Following recent years’ successful format, we will have keynote speakers from
abroad and select other papers submitted by local researchers. At this point,
we are delighted to confirm the assistance of Forrest Briscoe (Penn
State University) and Prithwiraj Choudhury (Harvard Business
School).
The
Madrid Work & Organizations Workshop brings together scholars doing
research in strategic human capital, industrial relations, organizational
behavior, personnel economics, and related fields. The workshop is an informal
forum to discuss research in progress and foster collaboration among scholars.
It is an excellent forum to receive feedback for ongoing projects, as the
publications that have followed presentation attest to.
The
workshop takes place annually and it is co-organized in turns by Carlos III
University, IESE, and IE Business School. This year the workshop will take
place at IE Business School on May 21st and 22nd (starting midday on May 21st
and ending early afternoon of the 22nd.)
We
invite submissions by professors and Ph.D. students. If interested, please
send an abstract of your paper to Rocio.bonet@ie.edu by
March 1st, 2020.
