After joining the CERA Global Association in 2017, and starting the first CERA accreditation seminars in Spain and bringing to Madrid the official examining center for Spain in 2018, the Institute of Spanish Actuaries has accredited its first 15 collegiate actuaries expert in the management of CERA risks.
The titular members of the Institute of Actuaries that have achieved the CERA accreditation in 2019, based on their ordinal accreditation number correlative to the CERA registration in the IAE are Luis Mª Sáez de Jáuregui, Pablo Morales, José Manuel García, Manuel Moreno, Luis Alfonso Jiménez, Sonia Latorre, Juan José Zahonero, Aitor Milner, Antonio Ferreiro, Marian Jiménez, Estrella López, Arturo Lozano, Raquel Pedrosa, Eduardo Trigo and Hugo González.
The CERA accreditation is the only ERM business risk management credential exclusively for Actuaries and is internationally recognized. It gives business risk management professionals (Enterprise Risk Management, ERM) a solid knowledge and skills for proper decision making, and reinforces them in the assumption of responsibilities such as risk managers and chief risk officers (CRO).
The CERA Global Association grants professional associations and associations of actuaries the right to grant the CERA credential to those actuaries that meet the training, exam, and risk management experience requirements.
Currently, CERA accreditation can be obtained through professional associations and colleges in Australia, Austria, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, India, Israel, Japan, the Netherlands, the Republic of China (Taiwan), South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and the United States.
