The VIII Seminar on Actuarial and Financial Research organized by ICEA in collaboration with the Master's Degree in Actuarial and Financial Sciences of the Carlos III University of Madrid, aims to be a meeting point between professionals in the insurance sector and the academic world.
The objective of the conference is to publicize both the UC3M Master's Thesis (TFM) and the talks given by prestigious professionals, revealing the latest lines of financial-actuarial research and its practical applicability.
The conference, which took place on March 2, was attended by numerous professionals from the actuarial environment, some two hundred people attended the event either in person or online, including actuaries (45-50%) and data and design of products managers.
The conference was attended, among others, by PhD. José Miguel Rodríguez Pardo, Professor and Academic Coordinator of the Master's Degree in Actuarial and Financial Sciences, who spoke about "New actuarial techniques for the personalization of the insurance offer".
