Fernando Ariza is a permanent member of the Tribunal that is responsible for grading the Master's Thesis of the students of the Master in Actuarial and Financial Sciences of the Carlos III University of Madrid.
PhD Financial, Actuarial and Mathematical Economics from the UCM, Bachelor in Economics and Bachelor in Actuarial Science studies from the same University and PADE at IESE. He is currently Deputy General Director at Mutualidad, which he combines with other tasks and responsibilities such as Director of Avanza Previsión, Director of the School of Thought of the Mutualidad Abogacía Foundation, President of the Institute of Spanish Actuaries, external professor at the University of Barcelona and Carlos III of Madrid and member of the international pension group of ESIP. He is also the author of various books and other publications as well as a regular speaker on business strategy, ageing, ethics of artificial intelligence, insurance, risks, longevity, social security and pensions. He has recently been awarded the Julio Castelo Matrán International Insurance Award from Fundación MAPFRE as co-author of the book “Longevity Risk and its practical application to Solvency II: advanced models for its management”.
