The firm SCOR, sponsor of the SCOR actuarial award, has awarded Jorge Luis Andrade, from Ecuador and student of the Master's Degree in Actuarial and Financial Sciences, with the 2nd actuarial prize SCOR Iberian peninsula 2016. The jury, made up of members of the Instituto de Actuarios Españoles (IAE), has awarded the student on his master's degree thesis on the neutral valuation of options and explicit guarantees in the life insurance contracts under Solvency II.
