Journeys about the solvency regulation regimes in insurance

The insurance carriers and their teams are entities that, because of their key role on the functioning of the financial system and on the economic activity in general, are, with no exception, submitted to regimes of prudential regulation. On this environment, the last financial crisis have opened a world process of progressive convergence and asimetric leading to regulations based on risks.

On these journeys it will be introduced the report "The solvency regulation regimes in insurance" which analyses the state of the advance and the difficulties associated to this process,  taking into account the situation on large mature markets such as the United States and the Eurozone, and on emerging markets on Latin America and Asia-Pacific. This advance can stimulate the increasing of the offer and a raising of the insurance participation on the economy. However, to reach it, it must done on a paralel way to the development of the tecnical abilities. The report also talks about the effort that globally is doing the International Asociation of Insurance Supervisors (IAIS) on the making of armonized frames for the supervision of the international insurance big groups.
