A new study by María José Sánchez Bueno and Fernando Muñoz-Bullón examines the relationship between family ownership of the company and employee protection.
The article, written in collaboration with researchers from LIUC Università Cattaneo and the University of Foggia, concludes that family businesses tend to protect their employees more than non-family businesses, generally avoiding staff reduction practices.
