Kurt Desender and Neus Palomeras awarded the UC3M Awards for Excellence 2021

Video abstract for the Strategic Management Journal article “The effect of coordination requirements on sourcing decisions: Evidence from patent prosecution services” authored by George Chondrakis, Eduardo Melero, and Mari Sako.

The work of our colleague Michele Piazzai, co-authored with Min Liu and Martina Montauti, has been accepted for publication in the journal Organization Science.

The study concludes that people’s risk perception, and the propensity to engage in risky behaviors related to exposure to COVID-19, increase when the behavior is associated with friends. Among other media outlets, the work appeared in CNN, The Guardian, and in the official press release of the American Psychological Association.
