Paloma presented the Documentation Center as a specialized library, related to the world of insurance (insurance, risk management and social welfare), where documents on cutting-edge topics in the sector can be consulted and located for possible investigations, presentations and exhibitions. that actuaries have throughout their professional careers. In addition, she explained how the center has been growing, becoming a bibliographic fund that has more than 170,000 bibliographic references, 350 magazine titles (old and current) and 65% of it in digital format.
She also explained the work methodology of the center (filter the information and update it continuously to distribute it to those interested) which has an integrated document management system that allows data to be shared with world libraries and agreements are reached with institutions and companies to share more information openly.
She gave great importance to social networks such as LinkedIn as a way of making their work public and making themselves known to new actuaries who need to investigate and find out both specific topics and generalities that occur in their day-to-day work.
Finally, a question and answer session was opened to clarify doubts and provide more information to the attendees.
