MATLAB COURSE

During the last months of March and April, the students of the master's degree attended a Matlab course offered by the MathWorks company.

MathWorks is an American privately held corporation that specializes in mathematical computing software. Its major products include MATLAB and Simulink, which support data analysis and simulation.

The classes were given by Paula Poza, Financial Application Engineer in said Company.

MATLAB (an abbreviation of MATrix LABoratory) is a numerical computation system that offers an integrated development environment (IDE) with its own programming language (M).

MATLAB allows matrix manipulations, plotting of functions and data, implementation of algorithms, creation of user interfaces, and interfacing with programs written in other languages and with other hardware devices.
