Despite the difficulties created by the pandemic that we are experiencing, a new academic year of the Master in Actuarial and Financial Sciences corresponding to the XII Promotion has begun.
The presentation of the master's degree to the new students was carried out by Professor PhD. José Miguel Rodríguez-Pardo del Castillo.
The professor briefly explained to the students what the actuarial profession consists of and reviewed its origins, going on to delve into the knowledge necessary to practice a profession that has an ever-increasing projection and wide employment possibilities.
Finally, Professor PhD. José Miguel Rodríguez-Pardo went on to detail the novelties presented by the 20-22 course, such as the Actuarial Professional Practice Diploma, for those students who exceed 80% attendance at extracurricular activities scheduled by the Master's Degree or the Santa Lucía Award for the best Final Master's Thesis.
