Last Tuesday, October 18, the company presentations began with the presence of Allianz Direct on campus.

On this occasion the speakers were:

• Thomas Cardeñoso. Director Pricing & Business Analytics, Product & Underwriting.
  
• Louis Plaza. Senior Non-Life Pricing Actuary / Data Scientist. A former student of the master's degree 2013-15.

They began the talk with the presentation of Allianz Direct, a new company created a year ago with activity in non-life, oriented to data and digital markets; The speakers explained the composition of the technical team and the different profiles that make it up, as well as the basic skills that are valued and required in the team.

Next, they explained the workflow, and the different phases and also commented on some of the projects developed over the last year (Data science, pricing, product & UW).

They also offered an explanation of advanced analytics and commented on three real projects.

Finally, they explained to the students the profile that is required to enter the company, and a question time was opened to clarify doubts and expand information to the attendees.
