The third conference of the cycle "Wednesdays are for actuaries" which was given by the company McKinsey & Company took place on Wednesday, December 2.
The consultants in charge of the conference, Carlos Ignacio Lozano, Antonio Fernández (both former UCEM double-degree students), Inés Ures, Eugenia Rubio, and Laura Mallada, began by explaining to the master's students what a consultant does at McKinsey, the types of problems that they solve or how is the day to day of a consultant.
The students were then divided into three groups to solve a consulting case with the help of a consultant.
Finally, after the resolution of the case, the firm's recruiting process was explained to them.
