The speakers for this presentation were Eduardo Sánchez Delgado, Deputy Director General-Actuarial Area and head of the Actuarial Management of the MAPFRE Group and Juan José López Sanz, Deputy Director of Life of said Actuarial Area.

In the presentation from the actuarial point of view and focusing the case on the Spanish experience, both discussed the problems and solutions to deal with data, statistics and models the excess mortality due to COVID-19 that, in the insurance sector companies, are behind of strategies and measurements of the impacts of the current pandemic.
